Printed Label

Printed fabric labels carry ink printed onto a fabric base. They reproduce fine detail, small text, multiple languages and elements such as QR codes far better than weaving — which makes them the natural choice for care, size and composition labels that have to pack a lot of information into a small space.

The base sets the feel and durability:

• Satin — smooth and premium, with crisp, clear print and heat-sealed edges that resist fraying.
• Cotton — soft, skin-friendly and natural; a good fit for organic and minimalist brands.
• Taffeta / nylon — durable and water-resistant; well suited to activewear, swimwear and outdoor garments.
• Polyester — robust and washes without fading.

A care label is only as good as its legibility after many washes. Durability depends on the right combination of material, ink and finishing, and skin-contact items should use OEKO-TEX certified material. The honest test is to wash a sample on your own fabric before bulk.

Printing handles density that weaving cannot: multilingual care instructions, fibre composition, size and a scannable QR code (useful as brands prepare for the EU Digital Product Passport) can all live on a single printed label.
