Jacquard Label

A woven label is created on a jacquard loom: the design is woven from yarns, not printed onto fabric. Because the colours are part of the weave, they never wash out or peel, giving a durable, textured and distinctly premium hand-feel. That is why woven labels are the default choice for brand and neck labels where the first touch of a garment matters.

Woven labels are commonly produced in two weaves. Damask is the finer, softer option — reversible, with high logo definition — ideal for premium garments and intricate marks. Taffeta is a polyester weave that is crisper and more economical, a durable everyday workhorse. We help you match the weave to the product and placement rather than forcing one option.

The fold follows where the label sits. Common formats include straight-cut (flat), centre-fold (necklines and waistbands), end-fold (hems and side seams), Manhattan fold and loop / hanger labels. Tell us the placement and we will recommend the right format and edge finish.
